Pep Guardiola's wife Christina has been given a VIP tour around St Bede’s College, along with the wife of City’s director of football Txiki Begiristain, which could mean Guardiola is closing on a deal with Manchester City.
The Spaniard who has officially stated his intent on leaving Bayern Munich at the end of the season, has three children - son Marius thirteen, and daughters Maria eleven and Valentina seven.
The independant school in South Manchester has around forty of City's academy players as students and has a high standard of education facilities.
Guardiola who has announced his intention to manage in England, has won back-to-back Bundesliga titles with Bayern, as well as the DFB-Pokal, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup and Lewandowski, who has scored 17 league goals this term and hopes to add to that haul this season.
Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea have been known to have an interest in the 45 year-old, but it now looks like he may have made up his mind to where his future lies which looks likely to be at Etihad.
Poland international Robert Lewandowski told the Mail on Sunday aboout Pep:
"I know Pep can improve a team in England.
"I think he knows where he's going and he knows what he needs to do with the team he's going to, so that they play much better.
"He will focus on technique and perhaps more possession than is the norm in England. But Pep knows the Premier League is different from the Spanish league or the Bundesliga. I'm sure he can do something new in terms of tactics and technique."
Lewandowski went on to talk about Pep’s dedication to the game.
"Pep thinks about football 24 hours a day. He covers every angle to the smallest detail and he always demands 100 per cent in training and in games."
